• FUSION TEAMS

    Fusion teams encompass athletes ranging from 12 to 18U who are committed to putting in the necessary work, dedication, and focus to compete at this level. Participation in Fusion is a mutual commitment shared equally by athletes and their families. Athletes on Fusion teams understand that every aspect, from positions to game time, must be earned through weekly competition in practice and tournaments. Fusion teams engage in 10 events within the USAV and AAU volleyball programs, including 4/5 USAV qualifying events, 4/5 USAV tournaments, as well as AAU Nationals and USAV Nationals for qualifying teams. These teams convene four times a week for a combination of team, positional, conditioning-focused, and structured scrimmage practices. All athletes attending tryouts will have the opportunity to be placed on a Fusion level team.


    The cost for Fusion teams is divided throughout the season with an initial deposit of $485 & 10 subsequent payments of $485.00/month.


    **AAU Nationals entry fee is included.

  • NUCLEAR TEAMS

    Nuclear Teams comprise athletes ranging from 12 to 18U who demonstrate the dedication and focus required to excel in volleyball at an "elite" level. Similar to Fusion, Nuclear is a commitment equally shared by athletes and their families. Athletes at the Nuclear level understand that every aspect of the team, from positions to game time, must be earned through weekly competition in practice and tournaments. Nuclear teams participate in 10 events, including 4/5 Top Court events, 2 USAV/AAU events, and 2 USAV qualifying events, as well as AAU Nationals and USAV Nationals for qualifying teams. Like Fusion teams, Nuclear teams practice four times a week, focusing on team dynamics, positions, and conditioning. All athletes attending tryouts will have the opportunity to be placed on a Nuclear level team, with no spots preselected from previous year's teams.


    The cost for Nuclear teams is divided throughout the season with an initial deposit of $485 & 10 subsequent payments of $475.00/month.


    **AAU Nationals entry fee is included.

  • ATOMIC TEAMS

    Atomic Teams, ranging from 12 to 18U, consist of athletes showcasing a strong foundational skill level, prepared to advance to the next stage of volleyball. Tournaments at this level shift from one-day events in high school gyms to more competitive two-day convention center and sports complexes. Atomic teams are slated to participate in 10 events across USAV, AAU, and Top Court volleyball programs. Similar to Fusion and Nuclear teams, Atomic teams undergo four weekly practices encompassing team dynamics, positional training, conditioning, and structured scrimmages. All athletes attending tryouts will have the opportunity to join an Atomic level team, with no preselection of spots from the previous year's teams.


    The cost for Atomic teams is divided throughout the season with an initial deposit of $485 & 10 subsequent payments of $385.00/month.


    **AAU Nationals entry fee is included.

  • RADIOACTIVE TEAMS

    Radioactive teams are comprised of athletes who demonstrate the skills required to compete at an intermediate level of play. Typically, Radioactive athletes have prior volleyball experience, often at the middle school or recreational level. Some athletes may be selected for this level with only minimal volleyball experience, provided they display athleticism and coordination gained from other sports such as gymnastics or tennis, among others. Radioactive teams are slated to participate in 9 events across USAV, AAU & Top Court volleyball programs. They will compete in local tournaments in the Florida Junior Challenge League, as well as two-day events within the state of Florida. Practices for Radioactive Teams occur three times a week, encompassing team dynamics, positional training, conditioning, and scrimmages. All athletes attending tryouts will have the opportunity to join a Radioactive level team, with no preselection of spots from the previous year's teams.


    The cost for Radioactive teams is divided throughout the season with an initial deposit of $485 &10 subsequent payments of $315/month.


    **AAU Nationals is not included. However, teams will be given the opportunity to add AAU Nationals for each team electing to participate.

  • CHEMICAL TEAMS

    Fort Lauderdale United VB also has Chemical teams spanning the 10u to 15u age divisions. Designed for first-time players seeking volleyball instruction within a team setting while also having the opportunity to compete. Chemical level emphasizes both learning and team participation. Chemical teams will engage in 5-6 one-day tournaments within the tri-county area. Practice sessions for Chemical teams occur three times a week, incorporating team dynamics, positional training, conditioning, and scrimmages. Athletes attending tryouts will have the opportunity to join Chemical level teams, with no spots preselected from previous years.


    The cost for Chemical teams is divided throughout the season with an initial deposit of $485 & 10 subsequent payments of $198/month.

CLUB FEES

TRAVEL FEES

Travel fees are additional fees paid by all athletes to cover the expenses of traveling. These fees include:

  • Hotel expenses
  • Transportation & meals
  • All athletes are required to pay their portion of the travel expenses for each tournament.


OTHER FEES

Uniform fees are charged separately from club fees. The uniform requirements for each team differs.


PAYMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Athletes' accounts must be paid and in good standing in order to participate in team practices,

tournaments as well as any clinics or classes hosted by Energy Academy. Failure to maintain your athlete's account in good standing, may result in a reduction of practice and or game play as well as removal from the current team or Energy Academy.


REFUND POLICY

It is imperative to understand that club volleyball entails a season-long commitment. While costs may be distributed across installments, every athlete bears full responsibility for the total season expenses. Tournament fees, once purchased, are non-refundable due to their advanced procurement. The sole exception to this policy is in cases of severe injury that incapacitates players for the remainder of the season.
